Dear Friends,
The votes are in, and one reader has the hardcover picture book, The Nightingale’s Song, winging its way to them as you read this.
The answers to the question, “What does Unity in Diversity mean to you,” were thought-provoking and inspiring to me.
Here are a few...
“Zero hate and support for individuality.”
“Diverse approaches to a crisis can lead to imaginative solutions!”
“Unity in Diversity means that everyone is an equally important part of the whole.”
“...We are all the same in so many ways but are unified by how diverse we are at the same time.”
“It means you can have your own opinion in the midst of many.”
As promised, I am sending out the free coloring pages that go with the book. I hope that the coloring books will lead to some wonderful conversations with the young people in your life! The knowledge that they are precious, just as they are, will serve as armor in a world that is in turmoil. Each one of us can choose love over hate. We can choose to send our light into the world that, right now that so desperately needs it.
In Unity,
Andrea
P.S. To further the conversation of Unity in Diversity, I offer 15-minute free book-readings via Zoom for faith groups, schools, and organizations. If your organization would like a reading, contact me at andrea@torreybalsara.com.
